Writing these Star Signposts throughout 2020 has often been an intense, teeth-grinding, heart-pounding experience as I would seek to describe the challenge and severity of so many historic planetary transits. In my private thoughts I kept reminding myself that if I/we could get through to March of 2021, the worst would be over. Much of what had to breakdown and dissolve would be done — thanks to Pluto — in preparation for the first glimmerings of an eventual rebirth for our world as we emerged, purged of the old, ready to reinvent everything. Now we enter that March portal with this New SolLunar Cycle. Will things begin to ease? Have we really turned a corner? We shall have to see, but my own sense of renewed faith and possibility is growing day by day.
Our New SolLunar Cycle sits astronomically at the tail end of Capricorn, linked to the fortunate stars of Sadalsud and Nashira which are considered bring good luck. And as both Sun and Moon align with the asteroid of Pallas Athene which guides creative wisdom, strategy and planning, this four-week period can be highly productive as you organize or reorganize your life and work around emerging goals.
Here are a few upcoming highlights to watch. February 16 – 18 is a volatile period with the first of three history-changing squares of Saturn to Uranus taking place on February 17. June 14 will be the second square and this transit will complete on December 23, 2021. Mercury turns direct on February 20, bringing forward momentum to all. The Full Moon cresting around midnight on February 26, breaking into February 27, takes place in sidereal Leo/Aquarius and is highly festive and creative. The annual Sun/Neptune conjunction — full of inspiration and imagination — occurs on March 10.

Readings and Sidereal Mentoring
My posts are based on the true astronomical alignments of the planets with the constellations, also referred to as the sidereal zodiac. As you work with and within the natural flow of time and the supportive cosmic energies that each unique SolLunar Cycle brings, life flows with more ease, grace and understanding.
Thanks for considering sidereal mini-readings with me for $44 or $88, the numbers of living your Mastery on Earth. In these short readings, I discuss key personal transits that are happening for you in 2021 and beyond. I also delight in mentoring students individually or in families, groups, workshops who want to learn more about how to use sidereal astrology as a helpful tool for insight and awakening. Send me an email if you are interested in those options, or a full Natal Map, Update or Relationship Map. Thank you!

Thu February 11
New SolLunar Cycle in sidereal Capricorn: Our New SolLunar Cycle sits astronomically at the tail end of Capricorn, linked to the fortunate stars of Sadalsud and Nashira which bring good luck. Welcome news, right? And as both Sun and Moon align with the asteroid of Pallas Athene which guides creative wisdom, strategy and planning, this four-week period can be highly productive, full of refreshing creativity, no matter your medium, as you organize your life and work around emerging goals, shifts and moving. The Sun will soon shift into Aquarius so the coming four weeks also brings focus to our roles in the communities we want to be part of, including seeking out a new homeland. We are aligning with our future selves beckoning us forward to wonderful possibilities.
Venus/Jupiter conjunction in Capricorn: These two planets are classically defined in astrology as being “benefic”, meaning they bring favorable and positive influences into our lives. More good fortune coming our way! Good luck often appears because of all your hard effort to keep going through challenging times, choosing to stay in a positive frame of mind.
Mercury retrograde in Capricorn sextile Juno/South Lunar Node in Scorpio: This aspect brings auspicious signs or supportive relationships regarding plans you are researching or next steps you are considering.
Fri February 12
Moon in Aquarius sextile Uranus in Aries: This friendly and community-minded pairing creates positive social connections with interesting or intriguing people. Take a risk and ask someone out if you are drawn to and the answer will probably be “yes” under this open-minded, experimental aspect.
Sat February 13
Moon/Neptune conjunction in Aquarius sextile Mars in Aries: This festive aspect brings a desire to act on romantic and creative impulses. Make art, love, or celebrate and collaborate with friends and community members.

The first time was January 10, today is the middle conjunction and March 4 will be the final alignment. Tue February 16
Moon in Aries square Pluto in Capricorn: This hard-edged and impatient square can lead to feelings of frustration or erupt as conflicts with others. If you channel its fire and determination, you can accomplish a lot!
Wed February 17
Saturn in Capricorn square Uranus/Moon in Aries: Today marks the first square in seven years of these two giants. This historic aspect brings radical shifts to our society, often pitting the forces of revolutionary change — Uranus — with the status quo — Saturn. People will tend to take sides and battle against one another in the beginning of this aspect, but often by the end, the body politic finds ways to compromise and collaborate within an emerging field of new possibilities. They will square again on June 14 and finish up on December 23. In addition, today the hot-tempered Moon aligned with erratic Uranus in Aries acts like lighting a match to already burning tinder. Things might get explosive.
Thu February 18
Moon/Mars conjunction in Aries square Venus/Pallas Athene in Capricorn: These energies make for one more day of boiling frustrations or things coming to a head. Use the tension of this square to launch innovative art or actions that benefit society and your communities.

Sat February 20
Mercury in Capricorn turns direct: Mercury has been transiting society-minded Capricorn for the past month, supporting businesses, organizations, and governments to formulate new ways of responding and manifesting goals even amidst our current collective chaos. As Mercury now leaves its reflective retrograde and turns direct, we are ready to move forward with clarity and confidence about we were contemplating this past month. Note that the shadow phase of this retrograde, which marks the full completion of this cycle, won’t be until March 12. There’s plenty of time to make things happen so be patient and take it one step at a time.
Moon/North Lunar Node conjunction in Taurus opposite Juno/South Lunar Node in Scorpio: When the Lunar Nodes are activated, big shifts occur regarding closing a door on the past and stepping into your future. Moon in Cancer opposite Saturn/Mercury in Capricorn: The monthly transit of the Moon through Cancer helps us focus on family matters, home projects (or trigger the desire to stay home), nurturing others and oneself, craving safety and comforting foods. You might feel serious or ponderous given the opposition of Moon to Saturn.
Thu February 25
Sun in Aquarius sextile Uranus in Aries: This sunny aspect brings joy, a need for breaking free of constrictions, and experimentation in your social interactions with others. Change up your routine and surprising magic can happen.
Moon in Cancer opposite Jupiter in Capricorn: There’s more optimism when exuberant Jupiter comes knocking. But Jupiter also amplifies cravings, emotions, or overdoing things which can lead to an injury.
Fri February 26
Moon in Leo opposite Venus in Aquarius: This celebratory aspect kicks off a dynamic, playful weekend ahead, including a Full Moon that is nearly full tonight. Be spontaneous, open and exploratory in your social interactions. You may take off work early or not go in at all as you hit the road for a trip you planned.
Mars in Taurus square Pallas Athene in Aquarius: With this willful aspect, plans or strategies may change but that’s okay. Steer clear of frustration or pushing too hard so as not to break something, be that a sculpture or building project, or a relationship.

This recreational, fun-loving energy bathes our planet for a couple days so take advantage of playing as hard as your kids play.
Sun February 28
Moon in Virgo opposite Ceres/Chiron in Pisces: Things may break — all part of life — and need to be fixed under this aspect, like a plumbing fiasco — Pisces. Mon March 1
Grand trine in Earth signs: Moon in Virgo trine Saturn/Mercury/Jupiter in Capricorn trine North Lunar Node: Earth signs in astrology support making things happen in the physical dimension and help us feel stable and grounded. This hard-working, success-oriented trine helps you move forward with vitality and confidence, activated by the futuristic North Node.
Tue March 2
Moon in Libra trine Pallas Athene/Venus in Aquarius: You could wake up obsessing or disturbed about something or someone with the early morning square of Moon to Pluto. This aspect is also good for dealing with one’s financial life or intimacy issues. Battles of the will are common, including with a determined pet.

With the Last Quarter Moon, you release what has been and simultaneously prepare for what will be as new desires perpetually arise in the next SolLunar Cycle.
Fri March 5
Last Quarter Moon: Sun in Aquarius square Lunar Nodes square Moon/Juno in Scorpio: The pressure grows today to finish out the old and prepare for the new with these two turning point energetics. The Sun exactly squares the south node of our history and the north node of our future mystery. The Moon/Juno pairing in Scorpio indicates the completions may involve financial partners or intimate relationships. All in all, it is a potent day of changing circumstances.
Sat March 6
Moon in Sagittarius sextile Pallas Athene in Aquarius: This stimulating aspect pairs your creative dimensions with your desire to work with others on behalf of causes that you care about. Something as simple as a community pick-up-trash day makes your neighborhoods more beautiful in every way. Adventure forth or learn something new under the exploratory energies of Sagittarius and Aquarius.
Sun March 7
Moon in Sagittarius trine Uranus in Aries sextile Venus in Aquarius: This adventurous trine leads to fun trips with friends, intellectual curiosity in a study group, or trying new things in general.
Mon March 8
Moon/Pluto conjunction in Capricorn: Now that Pluto has entered Capricorn for years to come, this monthly conjunction with the Moon is always intense and driven. This can lead to a focused work day or a physical or emotional purge. It sometimes creates a feeling of being lost in the dark, a temporary feeling that will pass. Choose to rest and simply be.
Tue March 9
Moon/Saturn conjunction in Capricorn: With this scholarly aspect, check in with an expert about something or offer your expert advice to another. It is focused, serious, critical and disciplined and sometimes a bit depressing.
Wed March 10
Sun/Neptune conjunction in sidereal Aquarius: This annual meeting up of imaginative, spiritual, intuitive Neptune with our illuminating Sun is always good for day-dreaming, creative time immersed in your art forms, doing ceremony in shared community with others. As a cautionary note, it can make you feel spacey and ungrounded so watch where you place your feet or pay attention to your surroundings while operating machinery.
Moon/Jupiter/Mercury conjunction in Capricorn: This is excellent for business and organizational meetings. People more readily express both what they think — Mercury — and what they feel — Moon. Alignments with Jupiter often bring good news.
Thu March 11
Moon/Pallas Athene conjunction in Aquarius square Mars in Taurus: Re-examine a financial choice or creative project you are working on if you encounter an unforeseen obstacle. Taurus likes the security of the known at times while Aquarius is willing to take futuristic risks. There can be tense conversations about which path to choose today.

Moon/Venus/Neptune conjunction in Aquarius: This uplifting trio on the last day of this Cycle helps you feel everything is possible with the right attitude. Attune to this gift via mediation, journaling, making art or shared ceremony with others and focus on the future you want and therefore will create.
Chiron/Ceres conjunction in Pisces: You may feel exceptionally open and vulnerable today, in need of a good cry, or craving deep silence and stillness, just to listen. This long-range aspect has also awakened compassion within some of our populace about the great suffering many are currently experiencing. Today’s completion conjunction leads to actions that will help those in need going forward.
Mercury shadow periods completes: This closes the chapter on our recent Mercury retrograde. Your personal “upgrade” is complete, for now, just in time for tomorrow’s New Moon.
Blessings to you~
