Since I first started doing my small blurbs of daily astrological information in 1999-2000 for online publications (thanks to my dear friend Jean Weiss http://www.jeanweiss.com/ who helped conceive the idea originally for Gear Goddess, then Delicious Living magazines) my specific interest has been in addressing the global implications of astrology as a type of cosmic planet-wide weather report….a weather report that helps us understand what we are immersed in from a galactic perspective at a specific point in time and space. Rather than focusing on the 12 (13!) astrological signs that define our individual differences and personalities, my approach has been to provide information about the universal context and climate that is influencing the whole of our globe, animals included, as we live side by side in the diversity of Earth. And, unlike weather forecasts that would only apply to one region or hemisphere, the understanding that all of Earth sits nested within a certain historical cycle as defined by our place in the galactic equatorial plane has global implications. “Astrological weather” can be a tool to help comprehend what is being asked of us as a unified human species in terms of a common evolutionary purpose at a particular point in time.This is one of the main reasons I continue to study the astrological language.
As many of you know, I have been practicing sidereal astrology since 1993, doing individual consultations for individuals, families, organizations( https://www.earthwordskyword.com/astrology.html) I took a class in 1991 from beloved friend Nick Anthony Fiorenza http://www.lunarplanner.com/. It took me two years before I would accept I was really a Pisces, not an Aries! Since then I have developed my unique way of working with the gifts of each type of system. I encourage clients to make the shift to their sidereal map so as to develop a larger field of reference about Self and literally step into a galactic field of resonance. We must dream large in these times.
In this coming year, I plan to further expand this idea of a planetary weather report on this Sky Oracle blog. I will be writing a series of expanded Star Signposts that help you know what’s happening week to week, month to month. I will intersperse these with other posts on understanding more about sidereal astrology. These will be called “Coming Home to the Stars” which is the title of my eventual (!) book on Galactic Astrology. I will address relevent information on how to “think” sidereally and why people might consider studying their sidereal map as a way of navigating the ever increasing intensity of these times.
When I started to design my website https://www.earthwordskyword.com/ the only thing I envisioned was the image of a brilliant clear vibrant living rainbowed Earth which might serve to evoke in viewers a reminder of what is possible and what we are in the process of reclaiming as our HOME. I wanted to create a portal into the interwebs of connectivity to influence in its own small way the collective Field of consciousness. I was honored to hear one client say “I sometimes go to your website to feel the peace of Earth and the starry heavens.”
