Are you immune to magic or do you partake daily in life’s miracles? You have a choice, and a responsibility, as to how you view the world. And that makes all the difference as to the conditions of your life.
Tuesday’s Full Moon carries a poignant theme ~ the honoring and potential transitions of our Elders. Once every 12 years, expansive Jupiter moves through the sign of sidereal Cancer, a sign linked to older people, wise guides, our historical roots. I have noticed this cycle always manifests as the sudden passing of many of those in our communities who are completing their courageous sojourns on Earth. This has certainly been the case for my community in Wyoming. And it was twelve year’s ago my own Mother, wise guide, made her transition under Jupiter in Cancer. It is said, if you die under a Jupiter transit, it is a ‘good death’ and bodes well for a positive future rebirth, if that is something you consider is possible. The continuation of Mercury Retrograde, also activating this Jupiter cycle, opens the door for much release, reevaluation, consideration of future timelines, while also teaching us how to stay present to what magic is unfolding, always, in the present moment. Whether you are embodied, or disembodied, you are always a Being of Light.

Lovely news: it is Candlemas/Imbolc/Groundhog Day. On this day each year, I always feel a greater sense of trust and an embrace of joy as we arrive at the halfway point between Winter Solstice and the coming Spring Equinox in our Northern Hemisphere. You might be continuing to integrate last weekend’s key portals of the Mars/Chiron and Venus/Neptune conjunctions, both linked to profound healing and realignments in our core friendships and communities. If possible, don’t fight it as sleep brings both release and rejuvenation arising from the wisdom of your dreamtime Self. The Full Moon is almost full tonight. You might experience a dream, laden with important insight, or be sleep-challenged. We all intake/partake of each Full Moon according to our own needs. Trust your unique experience and learn how you navigate these energetics so you can work more consciously with these celestial gifts, ever showering us with delight and awakening.

Today’s Full Moon takes place in the sidereal signs of Sun in Capricorn and Moon in Cancer. Both signs are linked to our roles, responsibilities, dreams for our families, as well as our desire to be helpful citizens in our communities. As today’s Moon aligns with exaggerating Jupiter, this will be a particularly emotional Full Moon, so prepare to emote, at least with those you feel an empathic connection to. This is a particularly good day to reconnect with family members that have fallen by the wayside because of an over busy life. And with the Sun’s creative sextile to strategic Pallas Athene, you might also make a plan for an actual visit in future months. As I mentioned in the introduction to this week, this particular Full Moon is linked to Jupiter in Cancer, governing our elder populations. If you feel the need to spiritually connect with one of your beloveds who has passed, here is wide open portal for that kind of experience to come to you. The veils between the worlds are thinner than we ever imagine them to be. The loving support of our disembodied friends, pets, are able to assist us, if we are in need. Makes me cry ~ tears of gratitude.

Time to sit back and assimilate whatever yesterday’s Full Moon brought forth in your life. It’s a nice time to celebrate, too, as the Moon moves into playful Leo. Concurrently, Mars in community-minded Aquarius makes an adjustment aspect called a quincunx to Jupiter in tribal Cancer. This promotes discussions about our desires for our personal families and the global community. A clear example of this dynamic is the current discussion in the public debate about immunization. What a stupendous day this will be, to feel more mentally clear and focused than you have in a while. That’s because Mercury ~ your mind/ideas/love of technology and communication ~ makes an exact conjunction to Vesta ~ the asteroid of focus/dedication of purpose ~ and they both make an exciting sextile to Saturn. You could breeze through your taxes today, that’s one use of this alignment. Another use is pounding through on all the books and podcasts you’ve been wanting to explore. Since Mercury is still in retrograde till February 11th, your mind is naturally turned more inward, toward contemplation and mediation. Today is an excellent day to recommit to those kinds of practices. The joyful Leo Moon makes a bantering opposition to our love/art planets, Neptune and Venus in friendly Aquarius. It’s a delight day of social connectivity. This is a five star day!

The five star energy of yesterday continues today with two important oppositions. I know the word ‘opposition’ can sound conflictual, as in opposing something, but in astrological jargon, this is more about opposites attracting and potentially finding common ground and greater attraction. Our ever optimistic Sun makes a once annual opposition to equally optimistic Jupiter. This is the kind of day when big news happens in your life or on the world stage. With the Leo Moon opposing Mars in Aquarius, there may be a bit of sparring before find that common ground. It’s a passionate, playful day.

A productive day is in store for you, if you want to be productive. The organized Virgo Moon makes a happy trine to Retrograde Mercury in ambitious Capricorn. Tackle those closets and throw stuff out. Keep plugging away on those taxes and tardy emails and letters.
Sun Feb 8′
A day of healing is in store. Our lovely light of love, Venus, makes an annual conjunction to Chiron, guardian of healing, which really means ‘to make whole’. These two align in Aquarius, the sign of your truest friends. Make a connection today with someone you trust at the deepest levels. Or, be open to finding a new source of comfort and connectivity as Aquarius is also about helping a heretofore ( love that word) stranger, and so make a new friend. And the health minded Virgo Moon makes a monthly conjunction to the North Node, guiding your future destiny. You can feel the seriousness of taking yourself, and your current goals, more seriously. And this alignment activates the almost final transformational square between revolutionary Uranus and Pluto. This alignment can bring shocking events or final releases. It’s another turning point kind of day in your blessed, unique and holy life. You are a Being of Light.
