Our Dear Lyn left her beloved earth on July 17, 2025.
It was the leadership of her heart that we counted on…
It was the leadership of her heart that carried her on.
We now have a new Ancestor among us who held our stories
illuminated through the movement of the stars.
Wherever she stood her ground was love,
Whomever she mentored with her compassionate intelligence,
empathy, and soul spirited humor…she was accompanied by Beauty.
In her solitary and spiritual practice of Earth-Joy,
Lyn Dalebout lived a glorious life.
In her eulogy for her beloved Grizzly 399, Lyn wrote,
“Claim your gifts and share them further and farther.”
This she did fully and it was her gift to serve you.
As her sister, I know she would want you to feel her love and gratitude
for you in her EarthWord SkyWord community.
The richness of your lives inspired the richness of hers.
May her cosmic love continue to be with us — all ways.
