Full Moon in sidereal Libra/Aries
“Full Moon and Jupiter” watercolor by Sue Ewald Cedarholm
Global shocks and shifts indeed occurred with the recent completion of the Mercury/Uranus conjunction, and will continue with this week’s powerful Full Moon taking place in justice-seeking Libra and warrior Aries. In addition, Juno, asteroid ruler of key partnerships of all kinds, just turned retrograde until August 26. My friend and sidereal colleague Nick Anthony Fiorenza writes this: “Juno begins her retrograde conjoining retrograde Pluto on May 9. Juno’s retrogrades provide times to redefine the nature our relationships and how we interrelate, and in this case, to refine and elevate the resonance of our relationships. Juno completes her retrograde on August 26. The Juno-Pluto conjunction may bring up issues regarding the use of power and the need to control. It may also impel the dissolution of relations where there is not the willingness to let old patterns die or to elevate the nature of interrelating to higher ideals in the pursuit of a greater unified awareness. Juno will once again conjoin Pluto after her retrograde, on November 11, 2017.” Get ready for both death and rebirth in your core alliances from lovers to friends to professional associates.
During this two week period, another event of historic proportion, Saturn trine Uranus, reaches its midpoint on May 18. This cycle began on Winter Solstice 2016 and completes November 11, 2017. Read more below.
We also complete the shadow period of the recent Venus retrograde cycle on May 18th, bringing fruition to goals or intentions you set in February/March this year. A path forward becomes clearer now.
For this entire SolLunar Cycle, I am pleased to post new spring watercolors by my friend, Sue Cederholm. You can view and purchase her many inspiring, colorful art forms at Inspired Wild Designs. Thank you, Sue!

Full Moon in sidereal Libra/Aries
Here is a brief synopsis of the Full Moon characteristics that hold true to every Full Moon from my from my friend and sidereal colleague Nick Anthony Fiorenza at Lunar Planner.
“The Full Moon marks the point of coition in the lunar cycle, the climax, the point of excitement, a time of celebration. The day just after the Full Moon is a time for the realization of the theme to emerge, of what the activities of the first half of the lunar cycle, culminating into the enthusiasm of the Full Moon, are really about. Relax and allow this realization to occur. There is no need to force it as it surfaces on its own.”

Full Moon in sidereal Libra/Aries: This is highly energized Full Moon as both Moon and Sun are in harmonious aspects to power-seeking, willful Pluto and relationship-seeking Juno, both in life-coaching Sagittarius. Last Quarter Moon
“Sunflowers” watercolor by Sue Ewald Cedarholm
Here is a description of the qualities of the Last Quarter Moon phase compliments of my friend and sidereal colleague, Nick Anthony Fiorenza at Lunar Planner:
“This phase completes with our Inner Needs surfacing to consciousness, to become aware of what is important to self and what is not. A sense of completion comes forth with a recognition that the past scenario has served its purpose and it is time to leave what is antiquated behind. Knowing now what our Truth is, it is time to consciously live it. Doing so provides a choice for others to also live theirs. Changing allows us to spiral to a new octave of experience—one that will eventually sprout in the next lunar cycle to come.”

Thu May 18
Last Quarter Moon: This will be a particularly active Last Quarter Moon as the Sun makes a decision-making square to the Lunar Nodes, helping you release the past and embrace the future. When the Moon conjuncts the South Lunar Node once a month, old acquaintances can either enter or leave your life. As today marks the completion of the recent Venus retrograde cycle, new loves arrive or creative projects complete.
Saturn in Sagittarius trine Uranus in Aries: These two slow-moving planets occasionally team up in a helpful trine that supports innovation, societal awakenings, revolutionary turning points. This current cycle began on Winter Solstice 2016 and will complete on November 11, 2017. Use this dynamic in examining your own life goals and plans, and take a Uranian leap of faith in the coming months.
