Last Quarter Moon~Spiral Two

I end this SolLunar cycle where I started it, with the image of spiral. Thank you again Terry for the gift of this ancient spiral from Turkey.
It’s a big week ahead, read below. With the completion of this SolLunar cycle, we will also complete the year-long transit of Jupiter through sidereal Cancer. When I talk about Jupiter in an astrological reading with my clients, I always talk about spiraling to a new level of awakening and opening (sadly you can also spiral in the other direction downward and out of control). Jupiter will enter Leo for the coming year on Tuesday July 13. I personally have been awaiting and anticipating the opening of the expansive positive portal. Astrological transits are true energetic openings, or portals, that we all experience on multiple levels. How we respond to these cosmic opportunities and nudges determines how we work with and within these galactic cycles.

“This phase completes with our Inner Needs surfacing to consciousness, to become aware of what is important to self and what is not. A sense of completion comes forth with a recognition that the past scenario has served its purpose and it is time to leave what is antiquated behind. Essentially a lesser self is what we will be shedding. It is now time to plow under the crops so they may become the fertilizer for the next cycle. This is a transformational time, a time for personal change. Step forth from old facades, and free yourself from past ways of participating in life. Knowing now what our Truth is, it is time to consciously live it. Doing so provides a choice for others to also live theirs. Not making the realized changes keeps ourselves bound in a circle of old patterns of growth; changing allows us to spiral to a new octave of experience—one that will eventually sprout in the next lunar cycle to come.

Last Quarter Moon: With the Moon in Pisces making a turning point waning square to Sun in Gemini, you might want to bring closure to what you launched three weeks ago and begin to anticipate where you want to be physically, emotionally, spiritually, mentally a week from now at the next New SolLunar cycle. Sun in Gemini has an energy of up and out and makes you mentally excited, while Moon in Pisces is more downward and inward, calling up subconscious emotions and need for quiet and inner reflection. Life often demands we inhabit two places (or more) simultaneously. Practice this shape-shifting today.
Mars in Gemini trine Neptune in Aquarius: As Mars currently makes a once-every-two years transit through sidereal Gemini, your passion for knowledge, reading, travel, investigation can be ignited. Today’s helpful trine to creative, imaginative Neptune in community-minded, friendly Aquarius might align you with the right people who share similar desires. Book a trip with a friend, or sign up for a class and make new friends.
Mars square Vesta: This aspect supports the above post about Mars/Neptune. Vesta’s influence always supports increased focus, gives you the courage to make a commitment. The square implies it might take a little extra effort or push on your part to move you forward.
Moon conjunct Uranus in Pisces: This once monthly alignment can paradoxically amp up your need for rest and reflection. This alignment falls on the heels of the above aspects that are more about DOING…..this one is about BEING. Rest after the push.

Moon in Aries trine Venus/Juno in Leo: This aspect lights up the skies with a desire for joy and action. The monthly cycle of Moon in Aries that happens for the next two days tends to make us more impulsive and spontaneous. Venus ~ planet of love, money, creativity ~ and Juno ~ asteroid of key partnerships ~ are in playful Leo. A great day to play in nature and paint with extra color on the canvas of your life. Trust that leap of faith you may have taken yesterday.
Moon in Aries sextile Mercury in Gemini: This aspect is excellent for harmonious communication between your thinking and feeling sides. Journal writers, talk to yourSelf via paper and pen, to glean clear direction about your life, both past aspects and future callings. Or pick up the phone and call a friend for similar clarity.

Moon in Aries sextile Mars/Sun in Gemini: As the fading crescent of the Moon makes its waning sextile to the Sun, a sense of peace and reflection can arise. Both of these planets are in the active, communicative elements of fire and air however, so you might feel antsy in a good way or giddy about recent events and have an overwhelming need to express that to others.
Mercury in Gemini squares the Lunar Nodes: Late tonight, Mercury ~ planet of ideas, technology, communication ~ makes a turning point square to the Lunar Nodes, indicating a shift from past motivations to future directions. Meditate at some point today, especially this evening, to gain the full benefit of this aspect in terms of increased mental clarity. You can calm the chatter of monkey mind, and awaken to the greater clarity of your higher Mind. Your choice, always.

Good luck deciding what is in your best interest at this time.

Sun in Gemini square Uranus in Pisces: This is big news today and always warrants extra caution and care. As you drive or just move around today, move with more consciousness so as to avoid accidents or a sudden falling on your face, which occasionally happens to me when my Guides/Angels/Ancestors/Animals are trying to get my attention. I call it ‘cosmic chiropract-ry’ or ‘divine re-alignment’ and I always pay attention. On a day like today, you can also have a sudden epiphany or satori or creative surge that can blow your circuits while also producing a lot of good work. Throughout today, be sure to utilize the tools you have to calm your nervous system, like restorative yoga, breathing, tulsi tea. Just a few minutes here and there can make all the difference to stay balanced today.
Jupiter leaves Cancer: Can you hear my sigh of relief? If you have read my blog, for a year I have written about this profoundly important transit that has brought much depth, release, sadness, loss, especially with our Elders and other beloveds. This has manifested as a year of profound transformation as well as great death in this world, yet also heralds resurrection in the other realms and in our new family constellations. Take some time today to pause and really give thanks for all you navigated and to those who passed on this past twelve months.

Jupiter enters Leo: Can you hear my cry YES! and scream of happiness as jovial optimistic Jupiter enters sidereal Leo, an astrological sign that is sure to increase creativity, playfulness, joyfulness in our collective planetary Field. Moon/Mercury/Mars conjunction in Gemini: As we complete this SolLunar cycle today (tomorrow is the New Moon), it promises to be a highly communicative day. The ruler of emotions ~the Moon ~ aligns with the ruler thoughts and ideas ~Mercury ~ and both of these align with activist, truth-telling Mars. This passionate, stimulating conjunction takes place in curious, talkative Gemini, and is sure to make for a day of over-the-top social media activity, everyone talking with their hand gestures, enhanced desire to go walking or running with friends, possible travel glitches.
