Restive

The word restive came to me as part of the star forecast for the coming week. I found that odd and incongruent as the energies of the coming week are quite mild. Restive is quite an unquiet disruptive word.
Here’s the definition of restive: unable to keep silent or still and becoming increasingly difficult to control because of impatience, dissatisfaction, or boredom. And this: refusing to advance, stubbornly standing still or moving backward or sideways. Standing still, or advancing out of your boredom? Your choice.
Ah, perhaps this is the word for 2014. Restive. Reflect on this word this coming week and how this might apply to the coming urgent shifts you are calling forth in your life. Are you bored, refusing to advance? Or are you increasingly unable to keep the vibrant currents of you heart silent?
Hopefully not. Feel this deep contemplation of your heart’s truth while Venus is retrograde till Jan 30, when you will advance. Hopefully, you will advance.

This is the pivotal day in this week’s star weather. Quite intense for sure which just means things are coming to a head to be resolved or to explode. Our Sun makes a semi rare square to the Lunar Nodes. This always, always, marks a turning point in your life. So make the most of this, as you are the boss of your life. Right? You are the boss of your life. If you have forgotten or buried that truth, it is time to remember. And so the Moon in Virgo aligns with Mars, and not taking action is NOT an option. Get it? This aspect implies you take a stand and make a choice, or it will be made for you but outside forces, like law enforcement or someone you care about taking action that leaves you in the dust. I know I sound dramatic. These are restive times.

Time to wrap things up. It’s the third quarter Moon again, a time of reflecting back while also anticipating the coming lunar cycle/New Moon which will launch the Year of the Horse. Research the various meanings of the Year of the Wood Horse. Surely it’s about claiming your power and rekindling a sense of adventure. 2013 was the Year of the Snake and many skins of confinement were shed. Reflect back. Rejoice in what you released, no matter how hard the release. Our Moon aligns in Libra~longing for peace and reconciliation~with the North Node~the point in the zodiac symbolic of where Life most naturally wants to unfold, wants you to go. Will you follow that current of the Grace of your heart’s longing? Why on Earth would you not? Ah the courage it takes to allow Grace as guide. I think of Grace as my higher Self calling me forth. Your higher Self is calling you forth, helping you break free of boredom, doubt, lethargy, hopelessness, disquiet, feeling stuck. Feeling restive? Take one small step of movement forward and begin the next leg of your journey.

This is no cliche. It really is true. Relax. Can you relax?
