I want to honor the Owl tribe. When I first launched this blog in June 2010, I did so with a delightful picture of twin baby Great Horned Owls which you can see in my archives. As I was working on the final edits of this new website, I was visited one night by a small Owl. I believe it was a rare Boreal Owl. It was perched on the handle of my snow shovel in a winter blizzard. We shared a stare, and then the Being took flight. Thank you.

We launch this week with the Goddess of Wisdom, Pallas Athene, whose sacred Guide is Owl, opposing Neptune ~ art, spirituality, imagination. Inspiration is in the air all week long. Also today, a tense heavy square occurs between Mercury and Saturn. Mercury is the planetary ruler of our mental states, technology and all forms of communication. Saturn always brings a realistic edge to the table. This aspect may manifest as completing a business deal, but be sure to triple check everything as Mercury is still in retrograde until Feb 28. There is also a positive trine of Juno to Saturn, indicating supportive partnerships are entering your life today. There is one last potentially challenging aspect. The Virgo Moon ~ analytical, critical, detail oriented ~ triggers the ongoing history shifting square between Uranus ~ we need a revolution ~ Pluto ~ power struggles, detoxification ~ and Jupiter ~ amplifying and exaggerating all other aspects. You will get insight into the next cosmic assignment as to how this forceful, catalytic square is moving your life forward at the speed of Light.

There is an ongoing fierce alignment between Mars ~ directness, confrontation ~ and Vesta ~ intense focus/a desire for security ~ Ceres ~ caregiving, environmental and agricultural issues ~ and the North Node ~ the future truth. These planets are all hooked up in the sign of Libra ~ peacemaking, new alliances. Well today the Moon in Libra makes a monthly conjunction and triggers another wave of conflicts erupting or solutions appearing. Lastly, Juno ~ your key relationships ~ leaves intellectual Aquarius and moves into emotional Pisces for months to come. It’s time again to give a rest to the analyzing your relationships ~ including to Self ~ and just feel what it is that keeps you together.

Today is a feel good day as our every optimistic Sun is in an easy going trine to Ceres, planetary ruler of caregiving, food, environmental concerns. This tends to create an atmosphere of supportive relationships and presents you with opportunities to share the cornucopia of your abundance. Even if you lack money, you have plenty to give. And even if you have money, you have plenty other gifts to give. And there is also a joyful grand trine between Moon in Libra ~ emotional harmony ~ Jupiter in Gemini ~ a plethora of ideas ~ and Chiron in Aquarius ~ the possibility for global healing. This aspect bodes well for energized compassionate conversation amidst community members. Diverse opinions become interesting, not threatening.

The probing depths of the Scorpio Moon collide with the detachment and desire for space of the Aquarian Sun. Complications emerge. Completions are launched.
