Burgeoning

I know it seems odd to use a word associated with spring/summer ~ burgeoning ~ in the context of our fall harvest season, yet it is the perfect word. Burgeoning implies a rapid increase in all kinds of forces, which is also part of the dynamic of an eclipse moment (coming early Wednesday morning!). Things tend to come to a head, either in a positive way or further highlighting current challenges. Either way, this particular eclipse might be particularly intense.
Thankfully we also have the supportive, creative Grand Trine Kite which involves Jupiter, Uranus, Mars and the Sun. More on that below.
And remember, Mercury is newly retrograde. Have things (machines, vehicles, relationships) started to unravel? Are delays starting to appear that cause you to not be in such haste to push your agenda? I encourage more listening. Is there a deep tiredness or desire for reflection and slowing down making itself known to you? May you find time to pause, rest and reflect in the coming 3 weeks, or chances are you will be forced to by illness or accident.

Today’s Aquarius Moon squared off with Mars in the night, so perhaps you will awaken with a ting of or great deal of anxiety about all you are needing to do right now. As the day progresses you can harness that tension and gets lots of stuff done as the Moon forms a positive trine to focused Saturn. Tonight the Sun is forming a volatile opposition to Uranus, exact tomorrow. This aspect can also be anxiety-producing, accident-causing, and creatively-awakening. Calm yourself by whatever means necessary tonight as you head to the dreamtime. But keep your journal or note-pad nearby in case you are awakened with a stunning realization or creative breakthrough.

With the Sun and Uranus exactly opposite each other today, there can be a startling eruptive energy in our planetary Field, such as chaotic weather events. Who knows, maybe even more gigantic solar flares will ignite our Earthly Field again, like last week. I could barely be in my skin. Both Sun and Uranus are volatile BIG energies with surprising power. You may experience emotional wobbliness or even physical unsteadiness with this aspect as well. Uranus is the planetary ruler of being a truly unique, following your eccentric desires, loving your oddities realizing they are what make you truly one of a kind. Make a list today to identify those qualities of Self that are Uranian, and celebrate them. Buy a new piece of clothing, book a trip to an exotic place that has called to you (you don’t need to know why, you just need to trust your intuition), take a creative leap, step outside your comfort zone. Sometimes on days like this, you will be forced outside that comfort zone by the circumstances or revelations erupting around you.

Today is a Lunar Eclipse. Simply explained, eclipses occur when both Sun and Moon, in opposition to each other, align with the North and South Nodes of the Moon, which are points in our heavenly Field that hold memories of our past and promises of our future Self. This celestial gift of an eclipse literally creates an energetic severing in your field of influence, if you choose to use it. Chances are the new is arriving as rapidly as the old is leaving, but you can help this process along. Set clear intentions while also opening to the Mystery guiding you, create ceremonies that honor your past but also launch you toward your burgeoning future goals. The exact trine of motivated Mars to jubilant Jupiter will help you in a major way today. Restore your faith and trust, even though things may have gotten a bit rough. Believe in luck again, and do your part to make the good luck happen in your life, and for those around you.

May you continue to assimilate and decipher the huge energetic shifts of yesterday’s eclipse. The forthright Aries Moon opposes complimentary (as in giving compliments) Mercury in Libra which can make for all kinds of inquisitive communications, spectacular connections, and moments of mediation. Since the Moon governs our emotions and Mercury, our thoughts, there can be a tug of war between making a decision from head or heart. Now is a day to sit between these two aspects of your Being, and simply feel the tension of these opposites. And remember, Mercury is still retrograde, so just open to the questions that are arising in and around you. No need to decide just yet.

With the independent Aries Moon opposing Saturn/Ceres in Libra ~ responsibilities we have to our family/community members ~ negotiations make occur today on the needs of each person within a relationship. The Aries Moon also inspires the creative risk often needed to break out of habitual ruts and patterns that can keep relationships stuck or on the path to dying. Helping today’s theme of breaking free of stale habits and ruts, is a really lovely somewhat fleeting Sun/Jupiter sextile. Opportunities can suddenly appear that open a door to manifesting greater vitality in your life, like you are suddenly offered a free ticket somewhere you have longed to go. Jupiter brings expansiveness and joy to our lives. I already mentioned the Grand Trine Kite aspect that’s been orbiting our heavens for almost two weeks. The planets currently in this formation are Jupiter ~ optimism/abundance ~ Mars ~ passion/energy/speaking your truth ~ Sun ~ illuminating Light ~ and Uranus ~ innovation/revolution. Since Uranus is involved, in order to benefit from the very positive energy this aspect can bring forth in your life, you have to be willing to take a risk, a leap of faith, allowing your wilder, creative Self to take the lead.

As the Sun ~ illumination ~ conjuncts the North Node ~ your beckoning future ~ steps need to be taken today, or at least contemplated, that will help you move forward with your plans, new dreams. As this divine union takes place in sidereal Virgo, some of the issues you might be contemplating are health and healing goals, notions of what it means to serve or share your gifts with others, and making more discerning choices as you go forward.
