New SolLunar Cycle in Pisces

Welcome to this budding and dynamic SolLunar cycle, taking place in sidereal Pisces, aligned with Uranus, the planet of individuality, shocks, accidents, sudden awakenings. Upsetting turns of events or exposes will only continue during the coming weeks of this wild New Moon. You may want to suddenly move physically, or toward or out of a relationship, or dismantle your space and freshen it up with new decor and intentions. During this cycle, a whole new level of disruption will be launched that carries through 2017 and beyond. That’s because the dwarf planet, Eris, is involved. Eris, also called ‘ the great disruptor’, is a slow-mover, taking approximately 560 years to make one go-round in our solar system. And it’s about to activate events on Earth in a big way.
Here are a few notes about Eris from my friend and sidereal colleague, Nick Anthony Fiorenza: “Eris is a feminine warrior archetype that has no fear or hesitation to intercede and expose what is simply unacceptable behavior. Eris abhors, will provoke and will challenge the assumption of the reality of a situation when based on false pretense. Eris opens us to see beyond the finite bounds of our current perception, beyond the bounds we place upon ourselves, sort of shaking up what is stagnant in consciousness.” Exciting news!
In light of this exciting New Moon, I am going to re-start the Earth Sky Oracle section of my website, where I write about longer, more wide-ranging astrological events. My specific focus will be on the current Presidential election cycle. I think people will find it extremely helpful to know information about the individual charts of the leading contenders in both parties, as well as aspects linked to the history of United States of America. Perhaps this will help to explain some of the craziness and drama surrounding this election! Stay tuned.

New SolLunar cycle in Pisces conjunct Uranus: This promises to be is a huge astrological gate of awakening and possibility as both Sun, your conscious self, and Moon, your subconscious self, align with radical, awakening Uranus. As you can see in the above galactic picture, they are all meeting up in the later part of sidereal Pisces, a sign of both spiritual and creative talents, or turning your head in denial, unwilling to face life’s challenges head on. All planets are aligning with the star of Revati, which is linked to how we use our wealth and all aspects of what makes us wealthy. Maybe that’s why last week I invented the word ‘frillionaire’ (def: rich beyond measure in friendships) in response to all the wonderful birthday wishes that came from everywhere. During the coming four weeks, give some thought as to what brings joy and exuberance into your life, and how that can and will translate to increasing financial wealth. Wealth involves physical money, but it is also about so much more.

Moon/Mercury/Vesta conjunct in Aries: Like a laser or fiery torch, your thoughts and feelings unite in pioneering Aries, and you are able to sear a path through any obstacles you have perceived. Your super powers of vision and envisioning are strong right now. As Vesta is also in the mix, the asteroid of dedication and focus, the fire of this alignment doesn’t just burn out quickly but keeps you focused all week long.

Sun/Uranus conjunction in Pisces: This annual event of cosmic release and opening can bring sudden shifts in consciousness, outer events that set you on a whole new path, or big weather or global events involving electricity. This energy can also affect computers and networks. Uranus is eccentric in it’s orbital wisdom, rotating on it’s side and in an elliptic. Moon in Taurus opposite Mars in Scorpio: The past three days brought more spontaneity into your life, or sparked a desire for freedom. Today’s Moon in Taurus might pull you back to day-to-day reality for the next couple days, with a specific need to focus on finances. This aspect supports you being more conservative now in order to celebrate later, like saving money for a future adventure, or reallocating finances for upcoming projects.

Moon in Taurus aspects: Finances or foundational issues continue today with increased focus as the Moon (what you need to do) squares Jupiter in Leo (defining your creative goals and directions) then opposes serious Saturn (doing what it will take in order to fulfill those dreams). It sure all fits with tax season, doesn’t it?
Mercury in Aries opposite Juno in Libra: This aspect can bring important conversations with key partners in your life. The dialogue might be about balancing what each person desires, leading to negotiations and clarity. All individuals need to speak what is on their mind directly, even forcefully, easier done today with Mercury in forthright Aries.

Venus in Pisces trine Mars in Scorpio: This fine aspect allows desires and actions to blend in harmony and flow. It can bring positive financial news or gain into your life. It’s excellent for any aqua sports or water forms of relaxation. And equally splendid for negotiations on all levels, including inner deals you are making between your self and your Self.
Sun’s last day in Pisces: With tomorrow’s entrance of Sun into sidereal Aries, along with the First Quarter Moon, it’s okay if your energy feels quieter, more internal. Rest, take a nap if your body/mind/spirit are begging for a reset. Your ‘doing’ self is about to become very motivated tomorrow and for the coming month as our bright Sun enters Aries, breaking new ground.
