The definition of springboard is “a thing that lends impetus or assistance to a particular action, enterprise or development.” We are entering the week of Equinox. The fecund spring cycle for those of us living in the northern hemisphere is mirrored in counterpoint to the reflective autumn cycle for our southern hemisphere neighbors. It may be time to spring into a more outward creative focus, or a more inward one, depending on where you reside.

Are you wanting to break out of ruts, ready to run free and explore again? Be aware of the volatile tell-it-all Moon/Mars conjunction building in the late afternoon and evening hours. This aspect tends to create an edginess internally or between you and another, and can also express as sparring intimacy.

Spring Equinox occurs at 10:57 am MST in the northern hemisphere. Surely just the hope of making this crossing each year brings a certain joy and creates a springboard in our step, especially after this historically challenging winter. Yet today we also have the monthly Moon/Saturn conjunction. You may feel a certain heaviness in your heart or feel burdened by your responsibilities. Saturn likes a task and wants to commit. Finish your taxes, not usually considered to be super fun. Or it might be time to have an honest conversation with someone you are close to. Yet also today Venus ~ ruler of your love life and creative longing ~ aligns with the Sualocin, the Dolphin Star. This star carries both a playful resonance, but also holds the mission of guiding us home when we are lost, as well as feeling a sense of responsibility to the collective Good for all of humanity. Ah there it is again, the message of facing your responsibilities today and being grateful you can influence the Good.

There is also a turbulent squaring off of the Scorpio Moon to Chiron in Aquarius which tends to dredge up old resentments that MUST surface. Then the healing aspect of this aspect can take hold and alter your life for the better.
