While photographing a herd of wild mustangs from a seated position on the high dessert plain, stallions began fighting all around me. The white stallion sparred with the paint, and they both reared up into the air and struck out at each other. This photo was taken just after their hooves struck the ground; the white stallion winning the fight, and chasing off the paint.
