Full Moon Eclipse

There’s a crack in our world, can you feel it? Are you experiencing it in your own way? Perhaps a shell breaking open, a skin shedding, a temper erupting, a heart opening, a crossing over? The great separation is occurring as we continue to slip the bounds and bondage of our third-dimensional conditioning (so much fear). As a species, we are learning to live more openly by the rules of the emerging quantum reality, governed by the laws of our inter-dimensional Selves. which always embrace and embody love and connection with all of life.
The above photograph is of a crack in horizontal bedrock I discovered this week. As I stood on this precipice, taking a picture and peering through this crack to the ground below, I realized I was standing on the old eroding block that would eventually fall, smashing into new formations, maybe tomorrow, or a hundred years from now ~ a day in desert time. I quickly stepped across to the stable side, attached to the Earth, and continued to ponder this erosional oracle for these times.
When I looked at my pictures later, I was surprised and delighted to see this heart emerge in the upper corner. I had not seen the shape or shadow of the heart while taking the picture, a fitting desert gift for this week’s celebration of Valentine’s Day ~ a day to give thanks for love in all its many forms and manifestations.
I am happy to report, there are some lovely trines and sextile aspects this week that point the way to doors opening easily, opportunities appearing that are emerging from your deep longings and new intentions. This week is all about taking a leap of faith

Full Moon Lunar Eclipse: Moon in sidereal Cancer opposite Sun in Capricorn. The reason today’s Full Moon is an Eclipse is because the motivating Moon is aligning with the North Lunar Node, symbolic of future directions. Cancer and Capricorn catalyze necessary shifts happening in both our personal and professional lives. As both planets also are interacting with breakthrough, rebellious Uranus, you can be rapidly escorted to take a leap of faith, even if you are afraid. This Full Moon ~ Full Sun portal lasts for three days, so stay observant and open for signs, clues, gifts.
Venus in Pisces sextile Mercury in Capricorn: This aspect effortlessly links our spiritual values with our desire for worldly accomplishments, on the personal and collective levels. Stay hopeful that more humans are actually taking that inter-dimensional, ascension leap to expansive inclusive love. Choose be a guide and educator (which means to ‘draw out’) to assist them on their path.
Sat February 11
Sun in Capricorn trine Jupiter retrograde in Virgo: If you have been struggling, today look for support, even life-support, that could be coming your way. Jupiter can bring a helping hand and activates inner confidence and faith to keep going. The retrograde aspect of Jupiter (until June 9) also means you might be examining what needs to leave your life in order to stay vibrant, healthy, creative.
Moon/North Lunar Node conjunction in Leo: The Moon often governs our sub-conscious motivations that can lead to unhealthy habits. Today you are being given a chance to purify your motivations and plant the seeds of new intentions into your mind/heart so you know longer sabotage yourself unconsciously. Meditation and thoughtful visualization are good tools to use today.

Sun enters Aquarius: This is the day our illuminating Sun enters the sign of radical, futuristic Aquarius in our current sidereal zodiac. For the coming month, collaborate in groups, work outside your comfort zone, or go off on your own to discover your heart’s authentic calling, then re-enter community once you know what you want and how you want to participate in this new world. This can also be a time to discover new friends via shared interests.
Moon in Leo opposite Neptune/Pallas Athene/Chiron: Remember we are still in this Full Moon Eclipse portal of breaking open. The playful, self-oriented Leo Moon makes a series of oppositions today with planets in community-oriented Aquarius. Bring your best ideas to the table of shared collaboration. Have some fun with a broad-brush of friends. Await important dreams and insights arising from the collective unconscious, or from the guiding Light of your inner wisdom.

Sun in Aquarius sextile Saturn in Sagittarius: This aspect makes organizing your Monday morning/day easy to handle as things falling into place in an effortless manner. Won’t that be nice? You might offer to help someone move or discard a cumbersome object (including an old idea of self), or a friend will offer to pick up your children so you can deal with other chores of life that need your attention.

Moon in Virgo opposite Venus/Mars in Pisces: Given that today is Valentine’s Day, with many are celebrating their beloveds, this aspect is excellent for a couple’s massage, making a healthy (Virgo) and romantic (Pisces) meal. May you appreciate the ways you support and are supported by your beloveds in both the practical tasks of a shared life (Virgo) and the emotional bonds (Pisces) that make life pleasurable, deep and meaningful.
Chiron in Aquarius quincunx Jupiter retrograde in Virgo: This long-range transit is doing it’s deep-digging transformational work in our collective politics, catalyzing innovative partnerships that cross party-lines, seeking solutions for glaring issues and problems. Thank you, healing Chiron, and expansive, optimistic Jupiter.

Moon/Jupiter conjunction: You might wake up from a rocky night of sleep as Jupiter both aggravates and amplifies the emotions and body systems, symbolized by the Moon. The Moon is also being worked on by excavating Pluto and nervous, erratic Uranus. Hopefully you have a few meditative and calming practices on hand to help you in the middle of the night, or on a day like today.

Vesta in Gemini square Uranus in Pisces: This aspect will lead to focused actions being taken on behalf of ongoing revolutionary shifts already in the works.

Moon in Libra square Mercury in Capricorn: It’s a good day to push yourself to focus on business tasks or have a no-longer-avoidable conversation with a colleague or beloved. As it’s the last day before tomorrow’s tense Last Quarter Moon, be sure to relax tonight.
