First Quarter Moon
This interval of Moon-time, called the First Quarter Moon of taking action, is reasonably calm and includes the significant annual Sun/Saturn conjunction on December 10. This alignment can often impose some harsh reality checks on our lives, but thankfully this year, it is tempered by a helpful sextile to optimistic Jupiter.

Here’s a list of the First Quarter Moon characteristics compliments of my friend/sidereal colleague Nick Anthony Fiorenza ~ www.lunarplanner.com
“The First Quarter Moon of each lunar cycle draws an external stimulus to initiate action as we move from the inspirational quarter of the lunar cycle into the action quarter. Now is the time to drop all hesitation and take the steps to move forth on what you were inspired about…it is time to now participate in trust and knowing. Trust in the process. Demonstrate this trust in physical action and you will be supported. This time is stressful or traumatic only if action is ignored. Simply, this phase is a time to work.”
Note: I write my posts according to the Lunar cycles, posting on the New, First Quarter, Full and Third Quarter Moons. If you to work with and within the natural flow of time and supportive cosmic energies, your life will flow with more ease and grace. My interpretations and predictions are based on the true sidereal astronomical alignments. Moon in Taurus opposite Juno in Scorpio: Re-read here from last week’s Star Signposts how I mentioned this SolLunar cycle is tied to Juno, the asteroid that signifies our truest beloveds and soul-level colleagues, even enemies that we are still attached to. It’s interesting cosmic synchronicity that today’s almost Full Moon makes an opposition to Juno, indicating a profound attraction is occurring, or you need to take a stand in regards to pressure coming from another. Taurus rules the throat chakra so the Moon in Taurus encourages you to speak up for what you need emotionally.
