Opening to poetry
I have spent my lifetime exploring nature, biology, writing, spirituality and astrology. Poetry is an art form which allows me to express my deepest experience and investigations in the alchemical combinations of words, integrating my many areas of interest. It is a canvas on which the natural world converges with the spirit world. I am grateful to share my poetry in text and voice, and hope to inspire in others a deeper appreciation of this stunningly beautiful, diverse, radiant creation.

I combine my skills as both astrologer and poet in writing these poems. I study the astrological information of the ones receiving the gift to get a sense of who they are, or how a couple might be together. I interweave that insight with my intuitive, poetic skills to write the poems. My clients take delight in the personal touch of something designed just for their beloveds.

In this Grand Canyon
that is your love,
this vast and wild space
that is your love,
hold it open,
keep it open.
Sun and storms
will come and go,
waters will rise and recede,
and what remains
is fertile ground,
love renewed, and ever renewing.
This Grand Canyon,
sometimes a chasm,
is always
a container for your love.
So hold it open,
keep it open,
with listening and listening
and deeper listening to each other.
