“Leslie’s Garden” painting by Rosanna DeSario Mitchell
We have just completed one of the most consequential SolLunar Cycles with 7.9+ seismic shifts happening in our political and collective lives. As foretold in my previous Star Signposts: “This New Moon is conjunct the star of Aldebaran, a star of visionary possibilities brought down to Earth through our collective endeavors. Aldebaran is associated with political courage and actions and is specifically linked to the House of Representatives, the political body where states’ rights are most expressed.” This is another example of the profound synchronistic linkages between heaven and Earth.
This New SolLunar Cycle in sidereal Gemini takes place in square to Jupiter and on the same day Neptune turns retrograde, marking another turning-point Cycle in the four weeks ahead. Gemini, dubbed the Twins, is all about the nature of polarity and duality: sunlight/shadow, conscious/subconscious, light/dark, progressive/regressive. The nature of Jupiter is to greatly amplify or exaggerate things, so life will most likely become more extreme on the political front and chances are you may explore your own issues regarding integration of tensions or split-screens happening in your life.
Neptune turns retrograde on the same day as the New Moon, Tue June 28 until Sat December 3, opening a portal to more fully explore your spiritual and creative aspects or cut through illusions and see what is really going on. And this red flag warning: Mars in Aries squares Pluto in Capricorn on Fri July 1. This is one of astrology’s most intense, cathartic and warrior aspects. Yet there are also many nice sextile and trines to help make things flow easier so read more below.
NOTE: I will be writing more about June’s historic events and other political topics in an upcoming longer post about America’s Pluto Return, an extraordinary event that completes our last 247-year story and launches us into whatever we choose to create next here in the United States of America. We are in the thick of life-altering decisions concerning all our freedoms and liberties for centuries to come. This is not a drill. Time to engage, nurture and create the world you wish to see and leave for future generations.
Thank you, dear Rosanna, for the use of your paintings in this summertime post of colorful wildflowers and soulful landscapes. Check out more of her lovely art on Facebook and Instagram at Rosanna Desario Mitchell.
Sidereal Astrology Mentoring and Readings
My posts are based on the true astronomical alignments of the planets with the constellations, also referred to as the sidereal zodiac. I use the phases of the Moon as the scaffold for my posts because the Moon functions like an energetic portal mediating between the heavens and our wondrous Earth. My entries are based on the aspects occurring each week as they crescendo, crest and dissipate over the course of their influence. As you work with and within the natural flow of time and the supportive cosmic energies that each unique SolLunar Cycle brings, life can flow with more ease, grace and understanding.
I delight in mentoring students—individually, with families or groups, and via workshops and conferences—who want to learn more about how to use sidereal astrology as a helpful tool for insight and awakening. Consider booking a sidereal mini-reading with me for $44 or $88, the numbers of living your Mastery on Earth. In these short readings, I discuss key personal transits that are happening for you in 2022 and beyond. Send me an email if you are interested in those options, or a full Natal Map, Update, Relationship Map, Young Adult or Child’s Map. Thank you!

New SolLunar Cycle in sidereal Gemini
At the New Moon, you are sprouting like a seed with new creative inspiration. Receive your unique insights by sitting in mediation or just be open to new possibilities arising within you from the sea of infinite creation.
New SolLunar Cycle in sidereal Gemini: Sun/Moon conjunction in Gemini square Jupiter in Pisces: Tue June 28 8:52 pm MT
The nature of Jupiter is to greatly amplify or exaggerate things, so life will most likely become more extreme on the political front and you may explore your own issues regarding integration of tensions or split-screens happening in your life. With this tense square to Jupiter, you might make expansive moves or take risks, feel renewed faith and enthusiasm, or be excessive in your actions, like pushing yourself too hard which leads to an injury. Midway through this Cycle, the Sun enters secretive and private Cancer. This can bring shifts regarding your home life, family matters, reunions, passages. It can a good time to move forward with new opportunities even if you aren’t 100% sure what you are doing!
