No better creature to attune to during the times we are traversing during June 2012. We are being given a cosmic chance~as this Venus retrograde/reflection~portal opens and opens us~to remember what brings us the deepest joy and to realign our daily lives, our relationship lives, our financial lives with the vibrant passionate blood truth that resides in our spiritual earthly hearts.

We are about to experience a divine event of some import: Venus transiting the face of our Sun on June 5th  2012 (6:09 pm MST). Ah Five is the number of Venus. Sweet. Here is a short synopsis of my own reflections of some of the themes for those of you who want my shorter Clifflyn Notes (ha!)

ALIGNMENT IN LOVE:

As we see Venus literally cross the face of our Sun one can imagine that there is a great infusion/diffusion of Love~Venus’s gift~cascading upon our Earth and earthly lives. It’s as if our own hearts are being emblazoned with a new Light. We are being awakened with a chance to once again reinvent ourselves doing what we love/loving who we love/simply choose to BE MORE LOVING.

If we have been living too much in our heads and the neurotic part of our thinking minds  then this stellar event can literally facilitate a shift back to our Heart Chakras. If you think that might be good for you, a healthier choice, meditate as this event is taking place and call it forth within you.

As Venus is traditionally associated with the feminine principle that is also linked with intuitive awareness/art/creativity/romance, now is a chance to enhance all those aspects of your life by allowing creative courageous inspiration to lead you forward. Overcome doubt or just ignore it and set in motion exciting new opportunities that will manifest soon if you will dream larger than you have before.

INTEGRATION OF YOUR SHADOW AND LIGHT:

This longer Venus retrograde cycle that spans May 14 to July 29 (returning to direct motion on June 27) is aligned with a star at the last degree of sidereal Taurus called ALNITAK. A theme of this star is about integrating all shadow and light/dualities/polarities. What does that mean?

You may have to experience your darker/shadow aspects rising up yet again. How about just witnessing this energy without judgment? Have you learned to do that yet? Now is yet another chance to give it a go. How about saying: ah there you are again, the part of me that is difficult/that unconsciously lashes out at others/self. Your shadow is part of your divine makeup~just as we have night and day as part of our divine solar system. Can you actually honor this divine shadow within you that is part of who you are? Some shadows are like attack dogs lashing out at others. Some shadows are more like subservient  souls that need to stop the abuse happening to them.  Some shadows live in quiet desperation with or judgment of this miraculous world that desperately needs their participation not withdrawal. Just to name a few versions.

Find a way not to deny your shadow  bury it   wish it away    pretend it doesn’t exist    because it does.

Through conscious witnessing find acceptance for this darker gift that adds depth and character and uniqueness to who you are.

And here’s the key: CHOOSE to integrate your shadow aspects into your lighter nature? How?

Then the shadow isn’t a negative thing but simply another color in your palette of Self. It’s an odd paradox, one I am still learning about myself. I am more accepting of this mysterious process of wisening.

SAY YES:

I have come to see in retrospect that this winter’s Mars retrograde cycle~please re-visit my 5-6 previous longer posts on this MAJOR event we have transited without and within~showed us what we would/could no longer tolerate. It had a lot to do with saying NO: this no longer works for me. I can no longer live my life by what I can tolerate~which means to endure with forbearance.

This Venus retrograde will take us into the territory of YES. If we will be open to believe that it is time to create our lives based in what creates a resounding YES in our body/mind/soul and make that our top priority, then it will be so, and soon. Do you trust that this is/might be possible? Maybe work on the trust issue too during this cycle so you can say a resolute YES by the end of June!

DETERMINATION:

“What would you attempt to do if you knew you could not fail?”

Twice this quote~from the pastor Robert H. Schuller~came to me the day I was contemplating the themes of this piece.  No better words to describe the opportunity that awaits you right now.  The passage of love-giving Venus across our life-giving Sun is also aligned in the sign of stubborn determined practical Taurus the bull. It is time to stop wasting one more ounce of your time/energy/focus on fearing for your failure and boldly/brazenly charge headstrong/heartstrong into your talents.

FINANCIAL REALIGNMENT:

What brings you the greatest joy/health/happiness for you and your beloveds will ultimately bring you the most wealth. And the most long ranging security. We must reinvent our financial lives/institutions/theories with this truth as THE underpinning for our economic reality.

This Venus retrograde cycle is happening concurrently with the first square of Pluto~necessary destruction that ultimately leads to healthier reconstruction~and Uranus~revolution/innovation. There is so much to say about that astrological paring so another post soon will be coming on the EarthSky Oracle.

Prepare/expect chaos in our financial markets.  Big time.  In quantum Chaos Theory, these unexpected sometimes terrifying shifts are simply the arrival of a new order still in the birth pangs of creation. We will have to ride this wave hopefully with the grace of a seasoned river guide.  Go with the flow. And don’t freak out! No need to freak out.  This has to happen externally. The way to navigate the chaos outside is to find your calm center inside. Trust your intuition. Do your centering practices. And don’t react or over react.

This will require at last linking what we truly value with how we spend our money.  Do you want your children’s college fund to be tied to drug cartels or environmental devastation? Now is the time to research better options. Will you take note of who is making your clothes for cheap costing them enslavement? Who do you think decides if something is profitable if not YOU by your personal choices?  It is time we get off that fence of thinking someone knows better than us be it our doctor or our financial advisor.

Clients and the patients will be informing the experts because they have done the painstaking work of researching options/alternatives/emerging solutions. Because it is their life that is on the line. I think many have already learned this lesson through this last passage of financial crises.  New economic models will strengthen such as the barter clubs. New options as to how to invest  money in financial institutions will finally become available because of the courageous visionaries/whistleblowers who work within those institutions will be creating those revolutionary/evolutionary options. This Uranus/Pluto square pushes us all toward following the truth of our conscience. No matter your job or where you work you know the right thing to do. Venus says: You know the right thing to do. It is you, only you, who must be the wise guide to our collective healthy future.
