We enter a New SolLunar Cycle which is astronomically aligned in sidereal mid-Libra, linked to the constellation Acrux, aka the Southern Cross, which embodies the “cardinal virtues”. These timeless virtues are historically defined as justice, prudence, temperance and fortitude. I add kindness and civility to this list.This shift in celestial tone is welcomed after the last SolLunar Cycle linked to combative and aggressive Mars (when expressed in its lower vibration). And there are some major planetary events in the upcoming four weeks including a Partial Lunar Eclipse on the Full Moon of November 19. May this New Moon portal germinate seeds of compassion and caring in more people and be a reminder to walk the path lead by our “better angels”.

It has surely been a heated, passionate and anxiety-filled time this past month and those energies only continue and amplify greatly with this New SolLunar Cycle in sidereal Virgo exactly conjunct Mars. Mars is synonymous with the ruby-red surging stream of our lifeblood that carries the force of our will to manifest actions and activities. Mars is primal, the life force that helps us live to see another day, especially through times of hardship. Mars is our will to survive epic challenges or health events, then to potentially become more fully alive after healing from such events, then eventually to thrive again in radiant vitality. SURVIVE, to be ALIVE, to THRIVE, all three are supported by the force and focus of Mars.

During this decisive SolLunar Cycle, three planets will complete their retrograde cycles leading to major forward momentum: Saturn on Sun October 10, Jupiter on Sun October 17 and Mercury on Mon October 18. A dynamic Full Moon in sidereal Aries/Libra arrives at 8:56 am on Wed October 20, linked to both Mars and Pluto, planetary rulers of will and power. May you manifest your own surging creativity and enjoy the vital journey that is your life.

As Fall Equinox approaches and we reach, yet again, this sacred moment of equal day and equal night, the exquisite light of autumn is upon us, a softer welcomed incandescence. We are released from the frenetic frenzy of summer and we can immerse ourselves in the creative harvests of this blessed fall season. May you make time for deep breaths and bountiful feasts.
