New SolLunar Cycle in Aquarius

A very auspicious Solar Eclipse portal arrives this week with the New SolLunar Cycle in sidereal Aquarius. Aquarian New Moons always portend future events or trends and launch greater community involvement and action. My sidereal colleague and friend, Nick Anthony Fiorenza, writes this: “Our New Moon eclipse in Aquarius conjoins the stars forming the Urn of Aquarius. The stars of the Urn articulate natural resources and the flow of those resources to humanity. They all impel an altruistic and humanitarian expression….also called the Angel Point of the Zodiak.” Indeed, Angels are around and amongst us at all times. Concurrent to this New Moon is an Annular Solar Eclipse (promising a clear break from the past) and also the once-every-two year conjunction of Mars/Uranus (promising more revolutionary activation and risk-taking) happening the same day.
The above photograph of this water web, an Earth Oracle, appeared on a desert dawn walk last week, the same day I dreamt about Indra’s Net. Indra’s Net is a perfect metaphor for the sign of Aquarius as it speaks to the interconnectedness of the universe, and how every Being is a unique jewel in the web of Life that also mirrors and reflects every other jewel in the universe. I am optimistically giddy again after months of warding off bouts of doom and gloom.
Another key planetary event takes place this week as Venus turns retrograde on March 4 until April 15. Our bright shining planet of love, art, cooperation shifts from being the Evening Star (you have been seeing Venus’s bright light at sunset all winter) will disappear, then reappear as the Morning Star, illuminating the dawn in the spring months, sure to mark a time of renewal for love and compassion for planet Earth.

New SolLunar Cycle in sidereal Aquarius: As today’s New SolLunar Cycle is also an Annular Solar Eclipse activating new beginnings for everyone, it’s a good idea to become hyper-conscious of what new goals, aspirations you are setting in motion. Use much of today to be in your own dreamtime, or in friendly community with others to feel the renewal and promise of this coming four week period. My sidereal colleague and friend, Nick Anthony Fiorenza, writes this: “Our New Moon eclipse in Aquarius conjoins the stars forming the Urn of Aquarius. The stars of the Urn articulate natural resources and the flow of those resources to humanity. They all impel an altruistic and humanitarian expression….also called the Angel Point of the Zodiak. It also brings emphasis to altruistic and philanthropic gestures, those that support others who are contributing to society, especially in the arts and sciences, but who may not have or produce supportive resources through their efforts alone. This South Node Aquarius Lunar Eclipse impels us to relinquish illusory ideals and antiquated patterns of behavior, as a populous about how to better the world, to think outside the box and to allow alternative paths to be realized. This impels the general populous, the people, to assertively step up to the plate and bring innovative ideas onto the world stage to be seen.” A good time to think not just about ‘me’ but invoke and activate ‘we’.
Mars/Uranus conjunction in Pisces: Every two years, action-oriented Mars aligns with rebel Uranus, igniting new levels of both revolution, chaos, explosions, and powerful forward momentum to take huge leaps in consciousness. This time they are meeting up at in the last degrees of sidereal Pisces, a sign linked to spiritual openings, creativity (especially in music/poetry), and compassion. Using the power of prayer and intention to aid those in need around our globe is one essential way to use this aspect. I also see this alignment as a powerful wave of activated LOVE bathing our beloved Earth, inspiring many people to stand up for what they know is right and true and authentic. Exciting, bold times, are these.
Moon/Neptune conjunction in Aquarius: Now today’s New Moon makes a monthly alignment with Neptune, our planetary ruler of spirituality and art, and sometimes, illusion and deception. It’s easy to feel very creative with this aspect, and also cut through any smokescreens of deceitfulness or trickery.

Mars in Pisces opposite Jupiter in Virgo: This alignment expands on yesterday’s Mars/Uranus conjunction, amplifying and energizing what was set in motion as well as bringing more confidence and cautious joy (Jupiter is in retrograde in discerning Virgo) to tasks and emerging possibilities.
Mercury/South Lunar Node conjunction in Aquarius: Mercury, the Messenger, delivers today, perhaps in reconnecting you with an old friend. The South Lunar Node symbolizes our past actions, so today, you can also recognize what is completing about your former life and what is emerging with this week’s Solar Eclipse. An important message, document, dream, communication might appear.

Moon/Venus conjunction in Pisces: Once again we witness this stunning jewel of a stellar event shining light upon us. At dusk, stand beneath these conjoined planetary Light Beings, simply saying ‘thank you, thank you, thank you’, then take notice in the coming days how that attitude of gratitude will rapidly speed up the delivery of what you are asking to manifest in your life.

Sun/Neptune conjunction in Aquarius: The annual meeting up of our life-giving Sun with spiritual, artistic, imaginative, of-the-dreamtime, Neptune, always manifests as high creativity and often, spaciness. To do it justice, spend time day-dreaming with focus, meaning use the power of your imagination to envision, ask, see that which you want to create. Or just allow it to come to you as you await in openness. It’s a day of magic, miracles, and being with cosmic Oneness.
Moon/Mars/Uranus conjunction in Pisces: Mars is about to depart laid-back Pisces and enter motivated, direct-action sidereal Aries. This alignment today calls forth huge waves of emotion or tears, and brings forgiveness or a desire to hug everyone in unconditional love.
Mars enters sidereal Aries: ‘Let’s move’ Mars enters one of its favorite signs, ‘initiate action’ Aries. Both energies love to do battle, compete, and also they can spark exceptional motivation and athleticism. This carnelian portal of action, that will be with us for a number of weeks, will help many leave behind despair or grief, and move forward with fierceness and courage.

Yod of Moon/Chiron to Jupiter: This ‘finger of God’, a Yod, will bring conscious healing to many relationships as people agree to move forward, having moved through a challenging phase, with a new set of guidelines, goals, cautiously hopeful things might work out. It’s a great time to re-invent yourself and your relationships, too.

Venus turns retrograde: Evening Star, Venus, is now retreating into a retrograde period until April 15, where she will reappear as the Morning Star. This period will be a good time to examine the contents of your heart, perhaps discovering what you are now ready to discard, be that an outworn crush or love, an old way of working with money, or call forth new art forms you want to explore and express, all arenas ruled by beautiful Venus. I will write more about this important transit next week.
Mercury/Neptune conjunction in Aquarius: Working in tandem with Venus turning retrograde, this annual line-up hooks your mind up with your Higher Self, even your Future Self. We really can tap into parallel timelines we might be considering, and today is a day to time-travel and actively envision where you want to be in your future timeline, given your current goals and dreams. Claim the awesome power of your imagination to create the life you want. You could be given subtle intuitive guidance, so heed the wisdom of your gut instinct.
