New Moon in Gemini

This New SolLunar cycle begins in in Gemini and conjuncts action-oriented Mars. Gemini is the sign of lovers, both inner and outer soul mates, of either feeling forever split between impossible options or finally finding a place of integration. Integration involves honoring both the shadow and light of how you are innately designed. It is part of our humanness. Perhaps you will find a greater space of peace and acceptance within yourself, for yourself, or for another, during this SolLunar cycle.
Jupiter and Venus, our two brightest planets, are getting closer and closer, reaching an exact conjunction early July. This is an exquisite sky spectacle not to be missed every night at the setting sun. And Jupiter and Uranus make a wondrous trine of completion on Monday.
This week also includes Father’s Day, linked to Summer Solstice. Blessings to all the loving devoted fathers and father-figures that bless and nurture our world in positive, necessary ways. They bring a much needed Light during these challenging, chaotic times.

New SolLunar cycle in Gemini: This coming four week period is extra hot, volatile, passionate and active, like a bubbling potentially reactive volcano. Will it/you explode or will you be able to keep finding ways to channel the stress and potency of this dynamic combination? A friend just wrote me today at the launch of this New Moon: “I am in the midst of a ‘take charge of your life and stop being a victim’ week.” Well said, and an excellent attitude as to how to approach this entire month, indeed, how to live life itself.
Juno enters sidereal Leo: This is exciting news in terms of joyful, creative partnerships suddenly entering your life or a return to more playfulness and possibility in your current key relationships. In recent months, Juno transited sidereal Cancer, the sign of family relationships, and you may have seen a profound reorganizing of your role and preferences in your family constellation. In addition, Cancer usually carries a certain amount of letting go, loss, and the ensuing grief that accompanies such losses. Now the mood can lighten and out of the death of the old, a personas and partners may emerge as you follow your bliss. Leo demands you follow your joy and your bliss.

Mars in Gemini trine Juno in Leo: People can certainly become energized to explore internet dating sites or book a hiking/biking travel trip as a way of meeting potential beloveds/compatriots as Gemini loves travel and adventure and Mars encourages greater athleticism.
Gemini Moon trine Neptune in Aquarius: This very conversational, friendly and friendship oriented alignment is perfect for socializing with another, or in a group setting. You may find yourself happily spilling the beans about what’s really going on in your life.
Gemini Moon opposite Pluto in Sagittarius: In the evening, the emotional mood can become deeper and more obsessive with Pluto’s influence digging up unconscious terrain. Don’t be surprised by a sudden emotional swing that comes out of the blue. Explore the depths just below your surface emotion and find treasures.

Moon in Gemini square Uranus in Pisces: A tension can arise today as the intellectualization of feeling (Gemini Moon) squares off with the empathy for all (Uranus in Pisces). It’s like wanting to sympathize with someone’s plight, but having plenty of well-reasoned reasons not to.
Mercury in Taurus trine North Node in Virgo: This aspect makes for a very solidly productive day, like really checking those to-do’s off your list so when you head to bed tonight everything is to-done.
Moon enters Cancer: This begins a two-day emotional shift where you can become instantly moody or need to rush home to nest and cocoon yourself. It’s also time to spruce up whatever your current home base may be. And given the upcoming conjunction with abundant Jupiter, you might splurge on a home-furnishing/cooking treats you’ve been longing for.

Moon/Venus conjunct in Cancer opposite Ceres in Capricorn: You may need to focus on parental/family responsibilities by choice or by necessity, given the nature of these two signs. In addition, when Moon ~ your needs ~ and Venus ~ your wants ~ make a monthly conjunction, you can experience a deep harmony arising from within you, a feeling that everything is integrated (unlike the split psyche of the Gemini theme I’ve been talking about). Be sure to witness this triad of beauty tonight at dusk. You will see one bright planet, that’s Jupiter, and an even brighter one, that’s Venus, and the lovely crescent Moon nearby. You can use this divine portal of Love in very practical ways, too, by setting intentions, sending prayers, and most importantly, giving gratitude for all the good in your life.

Moon/Jupiter conjunction: This aspect continues and amplifies what I wrote about in yesterday’s post. Re-read if you want to know what’s up.
Moon/Juno conjunction in Leo: Late at night and into tomorrow morning, this romantic configuration is great for cuddling, connection, even creative collaboration that comes out of partying late with your friends. It’s a joyful playful alignment and you just might decide to stay up all night and greet the dawn. When was the last time you did that or even wanted to? Don’t fight the urge if it presents itself. It is the longest day tomorrow and we need to soak of this cherished solar light for our energy batteries.

Summer Solstice at 10:39 am MST: This Father’s Day holds a special celestial treat. It is aligned with our longest sunlit day in the Northern Hemisphere. I can not comprehend that we are halfway through 2015, but that is the celestial truth of the Sun reaching it’s northern most point and then beginning its turnaround tomorrow. I always feel a twinge of sadness about this heavenly fact and reality.
Leo Moon transits: The emotional Moon makes several notable alignments today. You might move through various emotional spaces and energies in reasonably rapid succession. Early in the day, Moon squares off serious Saturn, then squares mental Mercury in Taurus and lastly opposes imaginative Neptune. You may start your day feeling limited and trapped in your circumstance (Saturn), but slowly, slowly, you remember to shift your thoughts (Mercury), reaching for a more positive thought, which catalyzes the infinite power of your imagination (Neptune) to re-imagine your life.

Jupiter trine Uranus: This heavenly aspect is considered to be one of the most positive alignments in astrology and is often found in the charts of our most innovative inventive citizens. Jupiter restores faith and Uranus sparks revolutionary, evolutionary solutions. Jupiter is almost done with its year long transit through Cancer and Uranus is currently inhabiting Pisces. Mercury in Taurus square Neptune in Aquarius: Remember our recent Mercury retrograde cycle that may have brought some challenging aspects and releases from your life? Today marks the completion square of mental Mercury to imaginative Neptune. You might want to ask yourself this: are my thoughts aligned with my greater dreams or am I still feeding the negative monkey-mind of fear, doubt, victimhood? You really do have a choice as to what floats through your head at any given moment. But you may have to get more committed about choosing a better thought so your life can flow more easily in the direction of your heart’s true guidance. The coming Jupiter/Venus conjunction will greatly enhance your ability to know what is your heart’s true guidance. Stay attuned.
