This exclamation point formed on the calm Full Moon waters of Lake Yellowstone earlier this summer. I did turn the picture upside down, adding a new perspective. Life might be turning you upside down, or turning your head in a new direction. It’s all part of the theme of this Sol~Lunar cycle of Reset which I wrote about in last week’s Star Signposts. The Full Moon arrives this coming Saturday, so expect more illuminating insights coming your way. In addition, the Sun and Mercury are nearing another sparking conjunction, exact next Monday. Today’s pre-dawn Full Moon pits Sun in sidereal (true astronomical alignment) opposite Moon in Taurus. Themes that might be ‘up’ that are associated with Scorpio and Taurus are finances, self-worth, desire for either drama or simplicity and ensuing power struggles. But there’s an additional wonderful astrological geometry that links up with this Sun~Moon polarity called a Grand Trine Kite. This most cooperative of aspects involves Ceres ~ caregiving ~ Juno ~ key partners ~ and Uranus on the South Lunar Node ~ breaking free of past habits/entrenched beliefs. All in all, this feels like an uplifting Full Moon, full of depth, emotion, touching, sensing, caring, collaborating.

The Sun/Mercury conjunction is almost exact (tomorrow, to be exact). This aspect influences the functioning of our minds, manifesting as either non-stop obsessive/compulsive mental ruts, or laser-focused thinking. They both align with Ceres as well. Ceres is the ruler of all environmental causes, agriculture, care-giving, parenting, and also often manifests a grieving or letting go.
