As Mercury heads into forward motion after three weeks of being in retrograde, expect swift forward momentum in regards to any projects you intentionally set in motion. Mainly, make your Self wide open to receive an important message or communication showing up in your life. This message can come in many forms, through a dream, a flash of illumination, an encounter with an animal, a text or email from an important person entering or re-entering your life. The message or messenger might puzzle you at first, so ask for a second message or insight if need be. Allow your Self to stay really present and open ~ this week’s theme. The early part of the week is quite uplifting, while the latter part gets a bit more mean and heavy with the annual opposition of Sun to Pluto.
Mon June 30
On this last day before Mercury moves forward, clear the decks of any remaining backlog of details you truly want to have resolved or emptied permanently into the trash. Then take a moment of pause and rest, placing special attention on quieting your busy mind to connect with your calmer, deeper stream of consciousness. Today’s interior Cancer Moon will help in this regard. This intuitive Moon is in a harmonious trine to Uranus in Pisces, both of which are water signs that rule over our emotional natures. Waves of pleasant emotions may wash over you. You may find it’s easy feel another’s pain or intuit something about a beloved’s life. I repeat my above suggestion: allow your Self to stay really present and wide open. Also with a lunar square to Saturn in Libra, a serious conversation with a family member may ensue.

As Mercury in communicative Gemini turns direct (something to celebrate!), it also makes a stimulating sextile to the playful, heartfelt Moon in Leo (something else to celebrate!). This is a fabulous aspect for communicating easily what is in your heart and to reclaim joy as a guiding principle in your life. You are almost forced to speak honestly from your place of deepest integrity whenever the Moon aligns with the star of Regulus, the Heart of the Lion. Regulus is considered to be one of the four royal stars in astrology that guide and ensure we will make it through this time of transformation and awakening as we continue to evolve into a more compassionate humanity. Vow to open even wider and shine even brighter in your life, being an example for all.
Wed July 2
The first sextile of our Moon to our Sun in a new lunar cycle symbolizes the hope of all things new and fresh coming into our lives. The Sun is in Gemini and the Moon is in Leo, both astrological signs of youth and playfulness. Be sure to make time for play and celebration today. And remind yourself of the simple things you can do to create healthy vigor: eat lots of chlorophyll in its multitude of forms, stay hydrated at the cellular level, move your body lots, breathe deeply, laugh often, invite people and circumstances into your life that bring you joy. Easy peasy, right? It’s not that hard to stay healthy as that’s actually how we are designed to be. Also of note today is the Leo Moon making a square to the waning Venus/Juno conjunction of last weekend (a really lovely and loving conjunction). This may force a challenging or scary conversation you need to have with a beloved, or involve resolving a financial issue as Venus in Taurus governs our personal financial situations.

As the day progresses the Moon leaves sunny, at times self centered Leo and heads into earthy, service centered Virgo. The natural tendency of this aspect is to want to be a helpful influence in the world around you and also assists you in grounding your inspired idea in practical ways. Because this Moon squares Mercury in Gemini, you might feel a fleeting doubt that your inspired idea might never come to fruition. But we all know that doubt is part of the creative process, right? Breeze through those unsettling thoughts and replace them with a better thoughts and future intentions. Things can rapidly shift if you will consciously make the shift. Here’s a bit of a warning: Sun and Pluto are building to an annual opposition, exact tomorrow. Pressures are building internally and externally. Things are ready to explode, to pop, to erupt. Channel this tension in very physical ways via all forms of movement.

Wow, this Fourth of July has major political astrological alignments occurring. This means the discussion our country is having around patriotism (and what that looks like for our diverse and split populous at this time in history) will be super charged this year. The Sun in Gemini is channeling the energy of the star of Sirius. This star rules ‘world teachers’ and carries a pressure to share your ideas, but sometimes in dogmatic and forceful ways. The Sun is opposing Pluto in Sagittarius ~ speaking truth to power or forcing others to follow your truth. This is a very eruptive, volatile and even violent energetic especially in regards to which ideas are going to win out. The mind police are out big time today but so are the warriors for justice for all. Thankfully loving Venus makes an annual alignment to Aldebaran, a star associated with political leadership. There is potential for open-hearted discussions that lead to eventual reconciliation.
Sat July 5
The once monthly, action oriented first quarter Moon has a dynamic forceful momentum in this particular lunar cycle. That’s because the Moon in healing, helpful Virgo Moon aligns first with Mars ~ the need to take action in service of a cause or health plan ~ then with Ceres ~ caring for all especially children, women, animals, food supply ~ and Vesta ~ laser-like determination. Volunteer, share your time with someone in need, spiff up your life with satisfying healthier habits. You can feel extremely dedicated and motivated today in regards to helping any situation you feel would benefit from your skill set.
Sun July 6
Over night and into the earlier dawn, the Moon in Libra ~ balanced emotions, supportive partners ~ conjuncts the North Node of your future yearnings. You might get an flash of insight about who to ask for what or what you can share with another. And as benefactor Jupiter is still in square to the Lunar Nodes for a few more days, the joy of sharing our individual wealth and bounty with others is present on the planet. Give and receive. Receive and give. Balance in all things will create balance anew on Earth. Do your part with joy and gratitude.
