It’s a jam packed week ahead! This week marks the a literal turning point as imaginative magical Neptune stations retrograde until November 16. In this May and early June period, you have been pushed to dream of larger horizons and still-to-be-lived passions as the mysterious energies of Neptune were at play (as in a trickster~Coyote) in your life. Now you sense what is next and can begin (and hopefully will) take those outrageous hopes and longings and launch serious concrete steps to make those dreams eventually come true. For some of you, you may have imagined what you want to call forth for the remaining years of your vibrant life. For others, it may be just imagining how to exit your job by the end of this year. For others, perhaps you are calling in the next level of creativity of the current decade you are in. If you haven’t yet allowed yourself to inhabit, not inhibit, your wild imaginings, please do so this week while Neptune is still in standstill. We are in constant manifestation mode either by conscious or unconscious choice. It’s time to claim your inner mastery and consider the belief that you really are the boss of your life. This can all be terribly exhausting at times, so be sure, too, to allow for naps, down time, rest time, dreamtime this week, and every week. Also this week it’s time to hunker down and get the difficult tasks done, cleared, completed. Because Mercury is retrograde until July 1, you will want to be super-careful about signing anything on any dotted line. Proof-read everything at least 3 times. Plus it’s an intense Full Moon Thursday night! So here’s the weekly breakdown.
Mon June 9
Neptune is at a standstill today as it is about to shift directions in regards to Earth. Please re-read the above paragraph about the potential meaning. It’s also important to note that part of this turning retrograde is happening opposite Pallas Athene, ruler of creative visualization and strategy. This aspect enhances the whole dynamic of leaping head-long and heart-strong into new endeavors. The Sun trines Ceres today, always great for creating/enjoying a healthy meal with friends and family. Spend time with Earth (linked to Ceres energies) who is your beloved Friend who patiently awaits your visits offering fecundity, delight, endless beauty.

The once-monthly day of reckoning arrives with the Moon/Saturn conjunction. This isn’t bad, it just tends to create the need for directness, honesty, and completing some important task you may have been avoiding. The Libra Moon opposes Venus in Aries so you might glean a new insight about which collaborative partners are mutually simpatico with your life, goals, dreams. The lovely synchronistic support of our Universal Love Field (it is as real as gravity) is always linking us up with our right partners if we will open to the joy of a shared life. A not-often mentioned astrological aspect called a semi sextile (30 degrees) occurs between Venus and Uranus overnight and into tomorrow. This can send sparks flying in love relationships or you may seize the moment and leap into a new trusting mind-set that the Universe does have your back. Try on this belief, see how it feels, and watch the magic unfold.

The Scorpio Moon opposite Juno in Taurus in the early morning hours makes for splendid intimacy between partners, a sharing and baring of souls. Or this aspect might make financial discussions the predominant topic. Later in the day the probing dark Scorpio Moon makes a square to both Neptune and Pallas Athene which lends itself to ordering up a film noire or creating art from your depths and shadows. All good. The themes that emerge today may become full-blown with the arrival of tomorrow’s Full Moon.

This is the most jammin’ day all week. Psychologically gear up early as, like those free wheeling Coyote pups in the above photograph, you may be handling many tasks and relationships all at once. The late night exact Full Moon is taking place with the Sun in sidereal Taurus and the Moon in sidereal Scorpio. These astrological signs tend to accentuate financial or intimacy concerns, and in general there can a tension between wanting to have less drama, while still being engaged in major drama. Other aspects can ease some of this inherent stellar tension. A supportive trine between Saturn and Chiron offers up help from friends or community members coming in tangible ways. With Venus making her annual opposition to Saturn, vows are being taken, promises are being made, relationships are ending, bottom-line discussions are happening.

Today’s semi-sextile of Sun to Jupiter creates sparks and sparkles all around. Say thanks when they dazzle your world. The still-retrograde Mercury in Gemini ~ going over all the facts ~ opposes Moon in Sagittarius ~ trying to see the bigger picture. Do both today. Make time for a mini-breather today so you are ready for tomorrow’s Mars square Pluto.

Today, the long-standing square of Mars to Pluto completes, so that’s the good news. Look back to January 1, then April 23, to examine what this cycle has been about for you. Today hopefully marks a positive, dynamic conclusion in regards to something you are creating in your world. The volatility of the Moon/Pluto conjunction in square to Uranus can make people erratic, obsess, go off the deep end. As this is the last day of our life-giving Sun in Taurus, complete infrastructure choirs, get some soothing bodywork, find a some green ground and take a nap. Not a bad idea actually as the opposition of Moon to Jupiter at midnight and overnight can overstimulate the mind and nervous system, making for interrupted sleep.

Sun enters astronomical Gemini for the coming month. This is a great time for traveling, reading, regaining our innate sense of curiosity about life. Today’s responsible Capricorn Moon is in a quincunx aspect to noncommittal Mercury in Gemini. Someone is the kid and someone else is the adult. FInd a way to play together, not try to control the other.
