“Dawning~Moon and Venus” by Lyn Dalebout
Gaze upon the beautiful nature of Nature (not so much the quality of photograph taken by my I-phone, hoping for a new camera soon!) in this conjunction of the waning sliver of Moon and the ever-constant sparkling Venus appearing in the eastern sky as dawn approaches. I took this picture a month ago. The same divine alignment is about to occur again this week. This is an oracle to me: Moon ~ what we intuitively know we need ~ Venus ~ who and what makes our hearts sing and shine forth ~ join force-fields announcing a new dawn that is just about to arrive.
Yet this week may also bring closure or release of much of who you have been, what you have loved, and what once nurtured you but does no more. That’s because we are both completing the last lunar cycle but also leaping into the electrifying New Moon arriving on March 30. You are potentially walking free of an out-worn identity, ready to literally step into a inspiring evolutionary creative cycle you have been preparing for for decades, even lifetimes. That’s my humble opinion. It’s all linked to the catalyzing Grand Square between Uranus/Pluto/Jupiter/Mars erupting on April 23. Rest up.

Today, it can feel like you are in an inferno. The Moon ~ your emotional field ~ makes a once monthly alignment with transformational Pluto in teacherly, at times, dogmatic sidereal Sagittarius. Everyone has strong opinions and even the timid can become unglued and finally shout. Also as the Moon squares Uranus in Pisces ~ a harbinger may appear to you of what this coming New Moon might bring to your life, if you believe in signs. And lastly, the already fired up Moon in Sag opposes exaggerating, at times bi-polar, Jupiter in Gemini. We all have some kind of split in our consciousness we are seeking to heal. It’s just human nature. You have a quiver of coping tools and skills (or maybe it’s time to seek some help). Pull them out, dust them off, and use them today!

There’s an exciting, stimulating, or shocking shift happening today in at least one of your key partnerships (and remember that can be within yourSelf and complexity of being). Juno ~ marriage, beloved mates, working in partnership ~ aligns with exciting, shocking Uranus. This may ~ MAY ~ lead to sudden breakthroughs in global crises. Also, retrograde Mars is now returning to sidereal health-minded Virgo, you may have to seek ways to resolve a lingering health issue. It might become easier to commit whole-heartedly to cleansing your body~mind~spirit (always a good idea in spring) or focus more fully on fitness routines that serve your entire being. Strengthen the link between your outer workout and your inner workout to achieve greater results at every level of your dynamic being.

A cooperative communicative trine aligns today between Mercury in Aquarius ~ visionary thinking ~ and Jupiter in Gemini ~ trapped in black and white thinking or choosing to be open to new ways of seeing a situation. This bodes well for organizations and community members to collaborate to enhance everyone’s benefit. Lastly, that Moon/Venus conjunction I spoke about earlier is coalescing overnight to appear at the break of dawn tomorrow. May you awaken early to set intentions under these luminous planetary Beings. Ask and they shall help you in magical ways that will be hard to explain. The great living breathing unfathomable Great Mystery will bring forth the miraculous in your life if you will ask for guidance. It’s Field of Dreams.

Remember how Juno in astrological language symbolizes your mate, your soul mates, your colleagues? Well today Juno makes a tense square to Pluto, often linked to power struggles, transformational moments, obsessive focus. It’s a tug of war kind of day, and you may have to tell someone to stop trying to control you, or you may have to be the one to back off. As the day progresses, however, the Moon enters detached yet friendly Aquarius which may manifest as an emotional lilt and tone that arrives to aid you in the detaching process.

Today is similar to Wednesday in terms of potential for cooperative avenues of communication appearing. The Aquarius Moon ~ open-minded feeling and an open-hearted mind, some call it emotional intelligence ~ aligns first with Neptune ~ ruler of the imagination and dreaming a new dream. Now’s the chance to focus again on what is possible even if it currently seems impossible. When the Moon forms a heavenly trine to optimistic Jupiter, you may suddenly experience giddiness, jubilance, hopefulness. The Moon also collides with today’s other key celestial event, the Mercury/Chiron conjunction. This might lead to a sensitive, even painful, conversation with a friend or co-worker. The key is to engage in conversation, don’t hold it in.

Venus makes a challenging square to Saturn and a positive trine to Mars. Venus mirrors what’s happening in your love life, your financial life, and with your creative urges and surges. Utilize this square to decision-making, dedicated Saturn by making a choice not to feel limited or depressed, but seize this challenge and make a plan of what you need to do next. The supportive trine of Venus to take-action Mars will surely help motivate you. As this is also the last day of the lunar cycle, chances are you might be feeling a deep tiredness. Baby steps are all that are necessary till mid May when Mars leaves it’s retrograde. Give in, slow down, and savor the small certain beauties of your life.

I’m actually going to write about today in next week’s Star Signposts which I will post earlier than usual. That’s because today’s New Moon is so intense and launches one heck of a catalytic astrological cycle for all of April. It will be one for the record books. Stay attuned~
