“Love Lights the Sky” painting by Carrie Wild
Overview
As we enter our New SolLunar Cycle — beginning in sidereal Capricorn, swiftly entering Aquarius — in a catalytic square to breakthrough, authentic Uranus, take a moment to reflect upon notable small or large steps you took these past four weeks advancing your life in important directions. Perhaps you see how you let go of aspects of your former life, shedding the skin of an old identity. Some feel more free from being influenced by others in invasive or unhealthy ways. Some of you may feel you have come home to your original core of being, less encumbered, fresh and new. Some of you may have literally retired and now have 100% of your time available for your own creative dreams.
During this New Moon — with all major planets in forward motion through March and much of April — similar shifts continue such as creating more freedom to live your authentic life. At times the pace of accelerated change — Uranus’s influence — can feel overwhelming as unforeseen ruptures continue to happen in our outer reality and within our inner worlds. It is essential to make time for routines and rituals of daily self-care to help you stay grounded, balanced and in a place of trust in what you are creating in your own reality and with your communities of connection. Given the influence of Uranus throughout this Cycle, open up and seek alternative, futuristic information and therapies that are rapidly becoming more mainstream. Many options and gifted helpers and guides abound to support your health, happiness, well-being and evolution.
Adding to this celestial theme, how wonderful it is we will transit another Leap Day, sure to bring expansive possibilities this year, not like the last one in 2020 as the world was shutting down. Reflect on your strength and courage to have reinvented your life in these past four years and plant seeds of intention that will blossom over the next four years.
Last, here are additional powerful events occurring during the SolLunar Cycle. Mars and Pluto in sidereal Capricorn make a volcanic every-two-year-conjunction on February 13. The rare conjunction, building for many weeks, of Chiron and the North Node in Pisces happens on February 19. The Full Moon of February 24 is a powerful one involving our relationships and partnerships in particular. And on February 28, the Sun, Mercury and Saturn conjunction in sidereal Aquarius marks a rare moment of endings and beginnings. More details on all this and more in my full post. Good blessings to you as you navigate your profound and evolutionary shifts.
NOTE: When reading my daily entries, remember that the influence of each aspect is like a wave — it crescendos a day or two before it happens, crests on the day it is exact, then dissipates over the following days. People experience the transits of planets at different times depending on their sensitivity and life events.
Thank you, Carrie Wild, for the gift of allowing me to share your vibrant pairings for this post. Carrie is also the owner of Gallery Wild where she shares and shows the work of many talented artists, a gift to our community. Art heals, art awakens, art nurtures, art catalyzes, art is essential bedrock for our souls. Thank you, Carrie, for exemplifying this from your core of your being.
Sidereal Astrology Mentoring and Readings
My posts are based on the true astronomical alignments of the planets with the constellations, also referred to as the sidereal zodiac. I use the phases of the Moon as the scaffold for my posts because the Moon functions like an energetic portal mediating between the heavens and our wondrous Earth. My entries are based on the aspects occurring each week as they crescendo, crest and dissipate over the course of their influence. As you work with and within the natural flow of time and the supportive cosmic energies that each unique SolLunar Cycle brings, life can flow with more ease, grace and understanding.
I delight in mentoring students — individually, with families or groups, and via workshops and conferences — who want to learn more about how to use sidereal astrology as a helpful tool for insight, evolution, creative joy. Please consider booking a reading with me, either a Full Natal Map or mini-readings for $44 or $88, or for my other options such as the Relationship Map or a Child or AdolEssence Map for your children. Thank you!
